The Concept of Diwali Pooja Thali

Diwali puja not only holds the belief of many but also reflects the grace and beauty of the decorations done for the occasion, which are a part of the culture and art of India.
Puja thali is decorated in various ways like with glittery cloth, designer diyas, flowers, or painted with colors and little decorative mirrors which look beautiful and ethnic.

You may use these thali decoration tips:

Decoration with chunni and red color:
Take a round shaped thali
Mark it with swastika design with red colour
Put a diya in the middle
Place flowers around covering the entire thali
Put agarbatti in side of diya
Place a bell; tie a small chunni around the bell’s neck
Place a shankh and mark it with a red tikka

Decoration with Bindi:
Cover the thali with a piece of red chunari
Stick glittery bindi all around the thali making a certain design
Place a small glass dish and place diyas in it marked with red tikka
Stick the picture of gods and goddess

Flower decoration of thali:
Take a thali or a glass dish for the puja
Place colored flower petals
Spread the glitter and rangoli bright colors
Place the puja items in the thali

Decoration with laces:
Take a thali
Cover it with colored paper or cloth
Decorate its sides with golden lace or chunari
Place the idols and diyas on the thali

Decoration with Mirrors: 
Take a thali
Decorate it with small mirrors of different shapes making a certain design
Make a paste with plaster of Paris and fill all the gaps. 

Decoration with dupatta:
Cover the thali with a printed duppata or chunari.
Stick ghungroos or bells in the 4 corners of dupatta.
Place flower petals in the thali
Place the idols

Decoration with Zari Border:
Cover the thali with zari chunari and tie little bells around it
Take colored thread and paste it in the middle making a certain design

Illuminated Thali:
Cover a thali with a bright cloth
Stick contrast color cloth on the border
Stick little mirrors on it
Place decorated candles in the middle of the thali

Decoration with Tissue Cloth:
Take a thali.
Stick paper on it.
Then take red colored tissue cloth
Stick very small bells or ghungroos on the sides of the thali.
Stick the cloth on the plate.
Place the diya and idols on the thali
