History

Diwali is one of the most awaited and celebrated in a full fledged manner festival.

Home coming of god Rama, goddess Sita and god Laxman is celebrated as Diwali through the years. It is believed that while coming back to Ayodhya god Rama crossed the southern portion so it is celebrated a day before in south.

Another belief which is associated with the festival is demon Narakasur’s end marked by goddess Satyabhama.
